I am a mom of two little girls. The eldest is five years old and the youngest is three.
I am the wife of a strong man, who loves me and loves our girls. We love him back just as much.
We live in the Free State in South Africa for now, but we move. A LOT. Previously we have lived in the UK and Zimbabwe, and in various places within each country. I will attempt to keep my political opinions to myself, but I really can’t promise anything.
Last year I had both my hips replaced. It’s not that I want to harp on about it, but it really has had such a huge impact on mine and my family’s life that I will refer to it occasionally.
As a stay-at-home mom my job is to put my children and husband first. I am thankful that we can afford for me to do this for now, but every now and then I tend to go a little crazy and lose my sh*t. Blogging has been a great way for me to let off some steam and have something that is mine, of which I am very proud.
My home is loud, crazy, never exactly tidy, and I tend to shout and scream as much as the girls do!
My favourite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy, Madam Secretary and The Big Bang Theory. I usually watch these with a glass of wine in hand.
I love reading and maybe writing one day. I love the English language. Unfortunately I don’t get much time to read for myself very much anymore, as I’m sure other Stay-At-Home-Mom’s will understand.
I am not a perfect wife or mother but I will never stop trying to be better for them.
