Welcome to my weekly round up where I use the top 5 most popular pictures from my Instagram from the previous week to review what I have been up to.
No. 5 – This is my yummy cappuccino that I had yesterday. We had to go to Bloemfontein and then had a few hours to kill so I took the girls to Pretty Gardens – such an awesome place. Whilst sitting at the Wimpy watching the girls play in the playground, I couldn’t resist a cappuccino, which I always have with cream but never with sugar!
No. 4 Tuesday was the girl’s long anticipated joint birthday party. I’m really not going to dwell on it, let’s just say that I don’t think we’ll be partying next year! These are their birthday cakes – the youngest had the Barbie cake, and the eldest had a Rainbow Dash cake. The cakes were gorgeous!

Today was Party Day! I threw a combined #birthdaybash for my girls today. My eldest had a #RainbowDash cake – she turns 6 on Thursday, and my youngest had a #Barbie cake – she turned 4 two weeks ago! They had an awesome day celebrating with all their friends. Thanks @za_panarottis for hosting the party! You guys are awesome! And I didn't have to clean up!! Bonus!!
No. 3. Thursday was my eldest’s actual birthday so I took the girls and a friend to the local nursery where the restaurant there serves the best food and drinks. Sadly they didn’t have any cream so I had a cappuccino with foam. It was so pretty and so yummy. I may or may not have actually had two.
No. 2 This week I celebrated #WineWednesday a little differently and had a Savanna Cider instead. It’s really the only other alcoholic beverage I indulge in other than wine. I also sliced up a small piece of biltong to snack on too. Spoils for me.
No. 1 Monday was a milestone for my Instagram account – I finally clicked over to the elusive 1000 followers. I celebrated with this little picture and promptly got the most likes for one picture ever. Yay! Thanks everyone.
I’m very excited that my husband will be home later this afternoon. He’s been away for four weeks and it’s felt like forever. Looking forward to some family time this evening and tomorrow before he heads off to start his new job on Monday.
Hope you all have a great weekend too.
