School Holiday Plans

The first term of the South African school year is nearly over. It feels like just the other day they went back after a seven week holiday. Fortunately this holiday is only two and a half weeks long so we should just about get through it with my sanity still intact.

School holidays are great, the break in the routine is good for the kids and for me, but lets face it, after the first few days it can get a bit boring. Unicorn Cupcakes

My girls love baking, and with all the Pinterest Perfect pictures out there, it can be a little daunting trying to live up to those carefully staged perfect looking cake designs.

I decided to try make it a little more interesting than basic vanilla cupcakes so I told the girls we were making Unicorn Cupcakes. It really is so very easy and they them. I think giving anything the title of ‘unicorn’ helps make it more interesting.  Continue reading “Unicorn Cupcakes”
