My Wanderlust

I am so excited I could almost burst.

If you read my post from a few weeks ago you will know my husband and I are getting 3 days away to ourselves while my mom and step-dad come visit to look after the girls.

Technically they are looking after the girls but I think we all know that the girls will breathe fresh life into them and recharge their batteries, whilst spoiling the girls with love and attention, as all grandchildren do and deserve.

School Holiday Plans

The first term of the South African school year is nearly over. It feels like just the other day they went back after a seven week holiday. Fortunately this holiday is only two and a half weeks long so we should just about get through it with my sanity still intact.

School holidays are great, the break in the routine is good for the kids and for me, but lets face it, after the first few days it can get a bit boring. How I Prepared To Go Out!

Yesterday my husband needed me by his side. He had to attend a work meeting, which was followed by a social where the wives were included.

For us to attend a function where the girls can’t come with takes HUGE planning and preparation. We decided that the only people we felt comfortable leaving the girls with were our good friends who live in a nearby town.
