How To Be A Good Blogger

I have been blogging for almost a year now. In that time I have learnt a huge amount that I didn’t even know was necessary to run a successful blog. I thought I would just write about my parenting life, and that would be it. How wrong I was!

People start blogs for many different reasons. I started blogging as an outlet, a way of getting all the thoughts that were swirling in my head out there, and as a SAHM I needed something that was my own, that wasn’t about my services to my family, I needed something that was mine. Many bloggers participate in weekly linkys, in conjunction with their twitter handles. This helps us all to showcase our own blogs, and to find new blogs we love and can connect with.

Each linky has its own unique rules and niche, but there are a number of common rules that they all have, and in order for you to be a positive contributor you need to follow these and abide by a certain ‘linky etiquette’ or ‘manners’ which all participating bloggers should observe.
