About Me

A Bit About Me

If you’re here you are looking to find out a bit more about me, the mom behind the blog. I am a mom of two little girls. The eldest is six years old and the youngest is four. I am a wife, and a Stay At Home Mom. We lare currently in the process of moving from South Africa to the UK. We move a lot.

What Do I Do All Day?

When people find out I’m a Stay At Home Mom, they are often curious about me and always ask me, “What do you do all day?” My job is to put my children and husband first. I am thankful that we can afford for me to do this for now, but every now and then I tend to go a little crazy. Blogging has been a great way for me to use my creativity and my love for the English language, as well as to have something that is just mine. Becoming a mommy blogger has quite literally saved my sanity by giving me something to do that exercises my mind and is a creative outlet.

What Else About Me

Aside from being a mom and a blogger I am also a freelance writer, copy-editor, proofreader and social media coach for young start-up entrepreneurs and creatives. Please get in touch if you want to work with me.

I Am Who I Am

Whilst I can be a bit of in introvert when at home, those who get to know me will find that my home is loud, crazy, and never exactly tidy. I tend to shout and scream as much as the girls do – #badmom I know! My favourite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy and The Big Bang Theory. After the girls are in bed, and when I’m not busy blogging I can usually be found watching one of these with a glass of wine in hand. I absolutely love travelling and am always looking for the next roadtrip or adventure to experience with my husband and two little girls.

You can get quite a good insight into our life and more learn more about me by following me on Instagram.

I am not a perfect wife or mother but I will never stop trying to be better for them. Biker Wife, and Zimbo Chick for life.
